Cornell notes template PDF

Generate a notebook for taking notes with the Cornell method: a cue column, a large ruled notes area and a summary area at the bottom of the page. Everything is calculated and drawn in your browser, and no file is sent to a server.

How it works

The Cornell method divides each page into three areas: a narrow column on the left for keywords or questions written after class, a wide column on the right for notes taken during class, and a strip at the bottom to summarize the essentials in a few sentences once the session is over.

How many pages should I generate for a semester?

It depends on the pace of your classes: count one page per one- to two-hour session. You can generate a small batch (5 to 10 pages) and run the tool again as often as needed, or ask for 30 pages directly to print a complete notebook in one go.

Can I print this template double-sided?

Yes, each page is independent and the content never runs into the margins, so double-sided printing stays perfectly legible once the notebook is bound or stapled.
