How it works
Choose how many generations to display, then list the known names for each generation, separated by commas and in order (for example: father's father, father's mother, mother's father, mother's mother). In what order should I enter the names for a generation?
The order follows a classic pedigree chart: for each generation, the first two names are the parents of the first person in the previous generation, the next two are the parents of the second person, and so on.
Can I generate a completely blank tree to fill in by hand?
Yes, leave all the name fields empty: the tool generates the structure of boxes and relationship lines with a dotted line in each box, ready to be filled in with a pen after printing.
