List the fields of a PDF form

Upload an interactive PDF to display the list of its form fields (name and type), without needing to fill them in. 100% local processing in your browser (WebAssembly).

Drag and drop an interactive PDF here, or click to select it (max 50 MB).

How it works

Before automating the filling of a PDF form (contract, administrative request), you need to know the exact name and type of each field. This tool reads the form's internal structure (the AcroForm) and lists every field with its technical name and type, without modifying or filling in the document.

What do the displayed types mean?

"Text" refers to a free-text input field, "Checkbox / button" a checkbox or a group of radio buttons, "Dropdown list" a multiple-choice field, and "Signature" an electronic signature field.

The PDF has no fields, yet it's a printed form?

Some forms are simple images or static text with no real interactive fields: in that case, they can't be filled in directly in a PDF reader, and the tool will show an empty list.

100% local processing: the analysis happens entirely in your browser via WebAssembly — your PDF is never sent to a server.
