PDF Gantt chart generator

List your project tasks with their start date and duration: the tool automatically calculates the time scale and draws a Gantt chart as a PDF, ready to share. All calculations happen locally, in your browser.

How it works

The tool finds the earliest start date and the latest end date across all your tasks to set the chart's time scale. Each task is then drawn as a horizontal bar positioned and sized in proportion to its start date and duration, with date ticks shown at the top of the chart.

How are the date ticks chosen?

If the project's total span is 21 days or less, one tick is shown for each day. Beyond 21 days, the tool automatically switches to weekly ticks to keep the chart readable even on projects lasting several months.

Can I enter an end date instead of a duration in days?

This version calculates each bar from the start date and a duration in days, which covers the vast majority of planning needs. For a task that ends on a specific date, simply calculate the number of days between the start and the desired end, and enter that number in the duration field.

What happens if two tasks overlap in time?

Tasks are drawn one below the other, in the order they appear in the list, each on its own row. Two tasks running in parallel will therefore appear with their bars vertically aligned over the same period, which makes overlaps visually obvious.

Your dates and task names never leave your device: the chart is calculated and generated entirely on the client side, with no data sent to a server.
