PDF vegetable garden planner
Generate a two-page PDF: a blank grid to draw your square-foot garden plan, and a crop tracking table with sowing and harvest dates. Everything is calculated in your browser, with nothing sent to a server.
How it works
The first page of the PDF draws a blank grid that you can annotate by hand to sketch where each crop goes, in the spirit of square-foot gardening. The second page complements this plan with a table listing each plant, its sowing period, its estimated harvest period and its location in the garden.
How do I choose the number of rows and columns for the grid?
Match the grid to the actual layout of your garden: for example, a 4x4 grid for a classic square-foot bed divided into sixteen 12-inch squares, or a wider grid to represent several raised beds or in-ground rows.
Does the tracking table account for crop rotation from year to year?
The tool doesn't calculate rotations automatically, but you can note the exact location of each crop in the dedicated column and generate a new PDF every year to visually compare successive locations and avoid replanting the same vegetable family in the same spot.
Your garden plan stays private: the grid and table are generated locally, with no connection to a server.
