Printable PDF habit tracker

Generate a monthly grid with your habits as rows and the days of the month as columns, to tick off each day with a pen. A simple way to see how consistent you are, with no app or account, and without sharing your habits with anyone.

How it works

The habit grid method relies on a simple principle: seeing an empty box each day creates positive pressure not to "break the chain." This tool draws one checkbox per habit and per day of the month, on an A4 landscape page so that all columns stay readable even with 31 days.

How many habits can I track at once without overloading the page?

Between 4 and 8 habits offer the best balance of readability and usefulness on a single A4 page. Beyond that, the rows become very thin: in that case, generate several themed grids (health, work, relationships) rather than one overly long list.

Can I adapt the grid to a month of 28, 30 or 31 days?

Yes, the "Number of days in the month" field automatically adjusts the number of columns shown, from 1 to 31, to match exactly the month you are tracking.

Your personal habits are neither saved nor sent: the table is generated locally, in your browser only.
