Standardize the page size of a PDF
Force all pages of a document to a standard size (A4 or Letter). 100% local processing in your browser (WebAssembly) — your file never leaves your device.
How it works
This is the typical case of a document assembled from several sources: a few pages scanned in A4, others exported in Letter format from American software, or pages of various sizes merged together. This tool resets the page size (A4 or Letter) of each page of the document, then resizes and recenters its existing content so it fits entirely within the new size, without distortion (the original width/height ratio is always preserved).
Will the content be distorted or stretched?
No. The scaling is uniform (same horizontal and vertical factor), so the content keeps its original proportions. If a page's width/height ratio doesn't exactly match the target size, the content is simply centered, with a slight extra margin on the sides or top/bottom rather than being stretched.
What happens if a page is already the right size?
If a page already has exactly the target dimensions, it is not unnecessarily recalculated: its content stays as is and only its page size is confirmed. The other pages of the document are adjusted individually, page by page.
As with all our PDF tools, this standardization is calculated 100% locally in your browser thanks to WebAssembly: your document never leaves your device.
