PDF page thumbnail sheet
Generates a single image combining a thumbnail of every page of your PDF, arranged in a grid with their page numbers — handy for seeing a document's structure at a glance or quickly spotting a specific page.
How it works
Each page of the PDF is rendered as a thumbnail with the pdf.js rendering engine, then all the thumbnails are laid out on a grid with the number of columns you choose, each labeled with its page number. The result is a single PNG image, easy to share or print as a preview of the document.
How many columns should I choose?
The more columns, the more compact the sheet but the less legible each page is in detail. 4 columns is a good compromise for a general overview; reduce to 2 or 3 columns for documents where the text needs to stay visible.
Does it handle very long documents?
Yes, but generation can take a few extra seconds per additional page: for a document of several hundred pages, allow for a longer processing time, entirely local to your browser.
Page rendering and sheet composition happen entirely in your browser (pdf.js engine) — your PDF is never sent to a server.
