How it works
Each line you enter (description, quantity, unit price excl. VAT) is multiplied to get a line total, then all line totals are added up to form the subtotal excl. VAT. VAT is calculated by applying the given rate to this subtotal, and the total incl. VAT is the sum of the subtotal excl. VAT and the VAT amount. The PDF reproduces this table with clear column headers.
Can I create a quote without VAT (French micro-entrepreneur under the basic VAT exemption)?
Yes, simply enter 0 in the "VAT rate" field: the VAT line in the table will then show €0.00 and the total incl. VAT will be identical to the subtotal excl. VAT, which matches the usual legal mention "TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI" (VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French Tax Code) that you can add in the notes field.
What happens if I have many lines and the quote runs past one page?
The table stops adding lines before it would overlap the totals block, to keep the layout readable on a single page. If you have a large number of lines, group them by item or by service to keep things concise, as multi-page generation isn't supported in this version.
Your business information and your clients' information are neither sent to nor stored on a server: all the calculation and layout of the quote happen on your device.
