Sign a PDF (draw your signature)
Draw your signature with a mouse, trackpad or finger, then place it on the page of your choice. 100% local processing in your browser — your document and your signature never leave your device.
Coordinates in PDF points (72 points = 1 inch), origin at the bottom left of the page.
How it works
Your signature stroke is captured on an HTML canvas, converted into a PNG image with a transparent background, then embedded on the chosen page of the PDF at the coordinates you specify. The final file contains a visible signature image, as if you had signed on paper and then scanned the document.
Does this signature have the same legal value as a certified electronic signature?
No. This is a freehand drawn signature applied visually to the document, comparable to a scanned signature. It includes no cryptographic certificate or trusted timestamp, unlike a qualified electronic signature (eIDAS, certified DocuSign, etc.). For documents of high legal value, use a certified electronic signature service.
How do I find the right X/Y coordinates to position my signature?
Coordinates start from the bottom-left corner of the page, in PDF points. An A4 page measures about 595 x 842 points: to sign at the bottom right, try X values close to 350-400 and Y values close to 60-120, then adjust based on the result.
100% local processing: drawing, image conversion and embedding into the PDF all happen entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to a server.
