Add a signature field to a PDF
Insert an empty electronic signature field, ready to be signed later by you or a recipient in dedicated signing software. 100% local processing in your browser — your file never leaves your device.

How it works
This tool adds a "signature field" area, recognized by the PDF format (/FT /Sig), to the chosen page at the coordinates you specify. The field appears empty in compatible PDF readers (Adobe Acrobat Reader, for example), ready to receive an electronic signature through signing software.
Does this field sign the document automatically?
No, it only creates the empty spot where a signature can later be applied by dedicated electronic signature software. The PDF is therefore not signed at the end of this step.
Do all PDF readers display this field the same way?
Most modern PDF readers recognize this standard field type and display a clickable "Click to sign" area, but the exact appearance (border, icon) may vary from one program to another.
100% local processing: the field is added entirely in your browser — your document is never sent to a server.
