Convert a PDF to a single long image

Stack all the pages of your PDF vertically into a single PNG image — handy for sharing a document on social media or in a messaging app without sending several separate files.

How it works

You want to share a multi-page PDF document (a resume, a brochure, a digital comic) on a platform that only accepts images, or display it as a single piece in an article? Import the PDF, start the conversion: each page is rendered and then stacked vertically into a single PNG image, ready to be downloaded or shared as a single file.

Is there a limit to the number of pages?

No, but a PDF with a very large number of pages will produce a very tall image, which can consume a lot of memory in your browser during conversion. For very long documents, prefer our "Convert a PDF to images" tool, which exports each page separately.

Why PNG format and not JPG?

PNG is a lossless format, suited to the text and crisp lines of a PDF document. It avoids the compression artifacts visible with JPEG on this type of content, at the cost of a larger file size.

The conversion relies on pdf.js, a JavaScript PDF rendering library that runs entirely in your browser — no file is ever sent to a server.
