Fuse bead pattern from an image
Convert a photo into a fuse bead pattern styled like a square pegboard: each round bead takes the closest color from a reduced palette, with the number of beads required per color.
How it works
The image is first cropped to a square, then reduced to a grid matching the number of beads wanted on each side (like a classic 29×29-hole fuse bead pegboard). A bead color palette is then extracted, and each grid position receives the closest palette color, drawn as a round bead with a slight highlight.
Why is the image cropped to a square?
Standard fuse bead pegboards are square. So the pattern matches a real pegboard directly without distorting the proportions of the design, the tool automatically crops the center of the image to a square before generating the grid.
How do I read the number of beads per color?
The legend displayed below the pattern shows, for each color used, its hexadecimal reference and the exact number of beads needed: enough to prepare the right bead stock in advance before starting to assemble the pegboard.
No image is sent to a server: the bead grid computation happens entirely in your browser, from loading the photo to exporting the pattern.
