Pinterest pin maker

Import an image and generate a Pinterest pin in the recommended vertical format (1000 x 1500 px, 2:3 ratio), with an optional title banner at the bottom of the image.

PNG, JPG or WebP — ideally already vertical

How it works

Pinterest recommends a 2:3 ratio for pins, typically 1000 x 1500 pixels, because it is the format that displays largest in the app's feed. This tool crops your image to that ratio, then reserves a banner at the bottom for a readable title, a format close to that of the pins that generate the most clicks.

Should I always add a title to the pin image?

It isn't required, but pins with clear overlaid text (article title, promise of the content) generally get a better click-through rate than images alone, because users immediately understand what they will find when they click.

Does Pinterest still crop my image after upload?

Pinterest may show a slightly cropped thumbnail in the feed (grid), but the full 2:3 version remains visible when you click the pin. The title banner generated here therefore stays readable in both views.

This tool works 100% locally: your image and your title never leave your device.
