Add a ring to your profile picture

Add a colored ring around your profile picture, solid, gradient or dotted, to signal an active story, a badge or a special event.

Example:

How it works

The photo is first cropped into a circle, then a ring is drawn around it with the thickness, color and style you choose. It's the same visual idea as the "active story" or "available" rings used by some social networks and messaging apps.

What ring thickness should I choose for a subtle look?

A thickness between 8 and 14 pixels gives a thin, discreet outline, while a thickness above 25 pixels creates a very visible ring, better suited to a strong highlight (e.g. a "live" or "new" badge).

Is the background around the ring transparent?

Yes, the exported image is a PNG with a transparent background outside the photo + ring circle, so you can easily overlay it on any background when you use it later.

Cropping and adding the ring happen locally in your browser, without uploading your photo to a server.
