How it works

Does a purchase order have legal value?
A purchase order formalizes the agreement between a buyer and a supplier on the agreed items, quantities and prices, and serves as a reference in case of a dispute over a delivery or an invoice. This generator produces a simplified document for practical use; for important contractual commitments or specific compliance needs (mandatory legal notices, general terms of purchase, etc.), have your template validated by an accountant or a lawyer.
How do I choose the right VAT rate?
The rate depends on the nature of the goods or services ordered and the country where the purchase order is issued (for example 20% for the standard rate in France, with reduced rates for certain categories). Check the rate that applies to your situation before sending the document to the supplier; this is a simplified estimate, not tax advice.
