Query string parser
Break down a URL query string into readable key/value pairs, with automatic decoding of percent-encoded characters.
How it works
Useful for quickly understanding the parameters passed in a tracking link, an API redirect, or a link shared on social media, without having to manually decode each percent-encoded character. The string is split on &, each pair is split on the first =, then the key and value are decoded (for example %20 becomes a space).
Is the leading "?" required?
No, the tool accepts the query string with or without the leading question mark — you can paste the part directly after the "?" of a URL, or paste the whole fragment, the result will be identical.
What happens if a key appears multiple times?
Each occurrence is processed independently; if the same key appears several times in the string (e.g. tag=a&tag=b), only the last value associated with that key will be visible in the final JSON object, since the object format only keeps one value per key.
100% local processing: the analysis runs entirely in your browser via WebAssembly, your string never leaves your device.
