Quote-to-invoice converter
Take the information from an accepted quote and instantly generate the summary of an invoice: net amount, VAT, gross total and payment due date. No data is sent to a server, everything is calculated in your browser.
How it works
Once a customer has accepted a quote, it needs to be turned into an invoice: keep the quote reference, assign an invoice number, set an issue date and a payment due date, then recalculate VAT and the gross total. This tool automates these calculations from the net amount and the VAT rate you enter.
How is the due date calculated?
The due date simply corresponds to the issue date plus the payment terms indicated (for example 30 days for payment "net 30"). Legal payment terms between businesses are regulated by law (generally 30 or 60 days depending on the case): check that the chosen terms comply with your general terms of sale and applicable regulations.
Does the invoice number need to follow a specific rule?
In France, invoice numbers must follow a continuous, unbroken chronological sequence (no skipped or reused numbers). This tool does not verify the continuity of your numbering: it simply reuses the number you specify in the generated summary.
This calculation is a simplified estimate intended to speed up the preparation of your invoices; it does not replace the advice of an accountant or a chartered accountant for verifying your tax and legal obligations.
The calculation is done entirely in your browser: no information entered (quote, amounts, dates) is transmitted to a server.
