Random Date Generator

Draw a random date between two bounds you choose — handy for generating test datasets, planning a drawing, or simulating birth dates.

Example:

How it works

The tool converts the two bound dates into days elapsed since a common reference point, draws a uniformly random integer within that range, then converts the result back into a calendar date. Useful for generating realistic test data (order dates, registration dates, deadlines) without having to make up values by hand.

Can the generated date fall on a holiday or a Sunday?

Yes, the draw is purely uniform over the Gregorian calendar and doesn't take holidays, weekends, or time zones into account — every day in the range has exactly the same probability of being chosen.

What happens if the minimum date is after the maximum date?

A clear error is displayed: the minimum date must be earlier than or equal to the maximum date for a valid range to be drawn from.

100% local processing: the random draw and date calculation happen entirely in your browser via WebAssembly.
