How it works

The game of rock paper scissors (also called "roshambo") pits three cyclical choices against each other: rock beats scissors, scissors beat paper, and paper beats rock. Click your choice, the computer picks its own at random, and the result of the round appears instantly along with the updated score.

Can the computer predict my choice?

No, the computer's choice is drawn at random before the result is even shown, completely independently of your own choice. There is no "intelligence" or memory of previous moves: each round has exactly a one-in-three chance of landing on each of the three choices.

Is the score kept if I reload the page?

No, the score lives only in memory in your browser during the current game session: reloading the page or closing the tab resets the counter to zero, just like the "Reset score" button.

No game data is sent to a server: each round is played and calculated locally in your browser.
