Rotate the pages of a PDF

Choose a rotation angle and apply it to all pages of your document.

Example:

Straighten a badly oriented scan

This is the typical case of a document scanned upside down or sideways: an automatic-feed scanner or a mobile scanning app sometimes saves one or more pages flipped or rotated 90°. Rather than rescanning the document, import the PDF, choose the angle that corrects the orientation (90°, 180°, or 270°), and download the straightened version, ready to be read or printed normally.

Can I rotate a single page rather than the whole document?

No, this tool applies the chosen rotation to all pages of the PDF in a single operation. If only one of your scans is misoriented in the middle of an otherwise correctly oriented document, you'll first need to isolate that page (for example with a PDF splitting tool) before applying a separate rotation to it.

What rotation angles are possible?

Three angles are offered: 90°, 180°, and 270°, clockwise. This covers the most frequent cases (a page lying on its side or fully upside down). Free rotation at an arbitrary angle is not supported, as it wouldn't make sense for a document meant to be read flat.

As with all our PDF tools, this rotation is computed 100% locally in your browser thanks to WebAssembly: your document never leaves your device.
