How it works
This tool applies your commission rate to the total sales achieved. If you enter a sales target and a bonus rate, it also calculates a bonus on the portion of revenue that exceeds the target, then adds everything together to give the total amount to be paid.
How is the over-target bonus calculated?
The bonus applies only to the portion of sales that exceeds the set target, not to total sales. For example, with a target of €15,000 and sales of €20,000, only the €5,000 above the target is subject to the bonus rate. If sales fall short of the target, no bonus is added.
Does this calculation exactly match my payslip?
No, this is a simplified estimate based on the parameters you enter. Actual commission schemes may include tiered rates, caps, deductions or rules specific to your contract. For an exact calculation, refer to your sales agreement or to your accounting department.
