How it works

A breadcrumb trail helps users understand where they are in a site's structure, and it can also be shown directly in Google search results in place of the raw URL, if the schema.org BreadcrumbList markup is present. This tool turns a simple list of pages into valid JSON-LD, with positions numbered automatically.

Where should I put this JSON-LD code?

Paste the output as is into a <script type="application/ld+json">...</script> tag in the <head> or <body> of the page matching the last step of the breadcrumb (for example the "Shoes" page in a Home > Products > Shoes trail).

Does the order of the lines matter?

Yes: each line must be entered in breadcrumb order, from the root page (for example "Home") to the current page. The tool automatically assigns position 1 to the first line, 2 to the second, and so on.

100% local processing: your pages and URLs never leave your browser, and all the work is done via WebAssembly.
