How it works

This style is often used to give a polished look to a heading in a social media bio, a username or a post, without needing an advanced formatting tool. Type your text, and the small caps result appears immediately and can be copied in one click.

What is the “small caps” style in Unicode?

It's a set of distinct Unicode characters that look like capital letters but at a reduced size, close to the height of the surrounding lowercase letters. Unlike the CSS `font-variant: small-caps`, these are genuinely different characters, so you can use them in contexts that don't accept formatting, such as a username or a bio.

Why do some letters (q, s, x) not change?

The Unicode standard doesn't provide a dedicated “small capital” character for every letter of the Latin alphabet; for “q”, “s” and “x” in particular, no distinct variant exists, so the tool keeps the original lowercase letter to stay readable.

The text you enter is never sent to a server: the conversion stays local to your browser.
