Excel / Google Sheets formula generator
Choose a common use case (vertical lookup, condition, conditional sum, concatenation), fill in the cell references and get the complete formula, ready to copy and paste into Excel or Google Sheets — in French or English syntax.
How it works
Instead of remembering the exact syntax and argument order of each spreadsheet function, choose the use case you need, fill in the fields with your cell references (you can edit them freely to match your sheet), and copy the generated formula straight into Excel or Google Sheets.
Why does the argument separator change between "French" and "English"?
Excel uses the semicolon (;) as the argument separator in French regional settings (because the comma is the decimal separator), while English-language Excel and Google Sheets use the comma (,). Choose the syntax that matches your software's regional settings to avoid a formula error when pasting.
Does the generated VLOOKUP formula also work in Google Sheets?
Yes, RECHERCHEV/VLOOKUP, SI/IF and SOMME.SI/SUMIF exist with the same syntax in Google Sheets. The main difference is the interface language: Google Sheets generally displays function names in English (with a comma as the separator) even in French, unless the sheet's regional settings are explicitly set to a French-speaking country.
100% local processing: the formula is generated entirely in your browser — no data is sent to a server.
