Convert SQL INSERT to CSV
Paste SQL "INSERT INTO" statements (from a database dump, for example) to extract the data as a downloadable CSV table.
How it works
Got a SQL dump (database export) and just need the data in a table, without setting up a SQL server? Paste the "INSERT INTO table (col1, col2) VALUES (...), (...);" statements: the column names become the header and each tuple of values becomes a row in the generated CSV.
Are escaped apostrophes and NULL values handled?
Yes, apostrophes doubled as in SQL ("O''Brien" becomes "O'Brien") are interpreted correctly, and the "NULL" keyword is converted to an empty cell in the CSV.
What happens if several INSERT statements target different tables?
The tool detects all INSERT statements in the pasted text, but only exports those that share exactly the same columns as the first statement found; a message tells you if other statements were skipped for this reason.
100% local processing: SQL parsing and CSV generation happen entirely in your browser, and your dump is never sent to a server.
