How it works

The STL (STereoLithography) format describes only the surface of an object as triangles, with no color or material: it's the standard format used by 3D printer slicers and CAD software. Import your file to visually check its geometry before printing, without needing to install CAD software.

Why does my STL appear as a single color?

This is normal: the STL format stores no texture or material, only a triangle mesh. The color shown here is applied artificially to make the volume easier to read.
