Stress level self-assessment

Answer 8 questions about your last two weeks to estimate your perceived stress level and get a result category with a few general tips. This test is a personal screening tool, not a medical diagnosis.

Example:

How it works

Each question covers a common sign of stress (mental and physical tension, sleep, irritability) and is rated from 0 (never) to 4 (very often) over the last two weeks. The total score, out of a maximum of 32 points, places your perceived stress level in one of four categories, from low to very high.

Does this test replace medical advice?

No. This tool is purely informational and is meant to spot a trend over a short period; it is in no way a substitute for a diagnosis or advice from a health professional. If your stress is intense, persists over time or comes with other symptoms (marked sleep problems, loss of appetite, dark thoughts), see a doctor or a psychologist.

How often can I retake this test?

You can retake it every one to two weeks to follow how your perceived stress evolves, for example after putting new habits in place (sleep, physical activity, work organization). Comparing scores over time is more useful than a single result.
