How it works

Between video streaming billed monthly, online press billed weekly, and software billed yearly, it's hard to compare prices at a glance. This tool converts each subscription into a monthly and yearly equivalent to allow a direct comparison, then ranks the list from cheapest to most expensive.

How is the weekly/yearly to monthly conversion calculated?

A weekly subscription is multiplied by 52 weeks then divided by 12 to get an average monthly cost; a yearly subscription is simply divided by 12. This method gives a representative average even though the number of weeks per month varies slightly.

Can I compare more than two subscriptions at once?

Yes, add as many lines as needed with the "Add a subscription" button: the table summarizes each line as well as a cumulative monthly and yearly total to visualize your overall subscription budget.
