SVG to PNG converter

Paste SVG code (or import a .svg file), choose a width and a height, and get a PNG image.

Example:

Using a vector logo where only PNG is accepted

Many software programs and platforms don't accept SVG images as input: this is the case for Word, PowerPoint, some social networks or logo submission forms that only allow classic raster formats (PNG, JPG). Paste or import your SVG file (a logo, an icon, a pictogram), choose the desired width and height in pixels, then get a PNG image ready to be inserted directly into these tools.

Why does converting an SVG to PNG lose flexibility?

An SVG is a vector format: it describes geometric shapes and stays perfectly sharp at any display size, even magnified 10 times. A PNG is a raster format fixed at a set resolution: if you enlarge it afterward, it becomes blurry or pixelated. That's why it's better to keep the original SVG and only generate a PNG when it's actually needed.

How do I choose the right output resolution?

Base it on the final use: for insertion into a Word document or a presentation displayed on screen, a width of 500 to 1000 px is generally enough. For printed material (flyer, packaging), aim for a pixel size corresponding to the print dimension multiplied by 300 dpi.

The conversion is performed 100% locally in your browser thanks to WebAssembly: your logo or your SVG data is never sent to a server.
