Turn typed text into an image that imitates handwriting on lined paper, ready to download as a PNG. The whole image is generated with your browser's Canvas, with no data sent to a server.
How it works
Handy for creating a personalized greeting card, a "handwritten" note for social media, or simulating a scribbled note without picking up a pen. Type your text, adjust the size and ink color, then download the generated image.
Which font is used to imitate handwriting?
The tool uses a cursive font available on your operating system (for example "Segoe Script" on Windows or an equivalent cursive font on Mac and Linux), with a generic fallback to the browser's "cursive" family if none of these fonts is installed. The result may therefore vary slightly from one computer to another.
Can I customize how the result looks?
Yes: you can adjust the text size, choose the ink color with the color picker, and turn the notebook lines in the background on or off for a result that looks more or less like a real sheet of lined paper.
The image is generated locally in your browser using the Canvas element: your text never passes through a server.
