Convert TIFF to JPG
Convert your TIFF files (scans, professional camera exports, administrative documents) into lightweight, easy-to-share JPGs, with adjustable quality.
Why convert a TIFF to JPG?
TIFF is widely used in professional photography, printing and document scanning because it preserves maximum detail, often with no lossy compression — which makes it very heavy and poorly suited to the web or to sending by email. JPG, much more compact, lets you share the same image easily with adjustable quality.
Can all TIFF files be converted?
The vast majority of standard TIFFs (uncompressed or compressed with LZW/Deflate) work without any problem. Some multi-page TIFFs or ones using old, uncommon codecs (such as certain specific CCITT Group 3/4 variants) may not be recognized; when that happens, a clear error message is shown for that file.
What happens if my TIFF contains several pages?
Only the first page/image of the TIFF file is converted to JPG. If your file contains several pages (common with document scans), split them beforehand or convert each page individually.
Your TIFF files never leave your device: the conversion to JPG is computed locally via WebAssembly, with nothing sent to a server.
