Title Case converter
Convert a title or sentence to Title Case, with a capital letter at the start of each important word, while keeping common small connecting words (of, the, and, a, in...) lowercase unless they start the sentence. 100% local processing in your browser (WebAssembly) — nothing is sent to a server.
How it works
Handy for standardizing article titles, chapter titles, or product sheet headings before publishing, without having to capitalize each word by hand. Each word has its first letter capitalized and the rest lowercased, except for common connecting words (of, the, and, a, an, in, on, at, to, for, with) which stay lowercase if they don't appear at the very start of the sentence.
Why do some small words stay lowercase?
This is a common typographic convention: short articles, prepositions, and conjunctions (like "of", "the", and "and") are generally kept lowercase in a title so as not to visually clutter the text, except when they open the sentence.
What happens if the text already contains uppercase letters?
The text is fully re-analyzed: each word is first lowercased and then recapitalized according to the rules above, so existing uppercase letters don't influence the final result.
100% local processing: the conversion runs entirely in your browser via WebAssembly, your text never leaves your device.
