Check a keyword in a title tag
Enter your page title (<title> tag) and the keyword you're targeting to check whether it's present and where it appears.
How it works
Placing your main keyword at the start of the title tag is a common SEO practice, because search engines (and users quickly scanning a list of results) generally give more weight to the first words of a title. This tool looks for your keyword in the title (case-insensitive) and tells you whether it appears in the first 20% of characters (start), the last 20% (end), or in the middle.
Is it a problem if my keyword is at the end of the title?
It's not a dealbreaker, but it's usually not ideal: a keyword placed at the start of a title tends to perform better, for both search rankings and click-through rate, because it's immediately visible in search results.
What if the keyword isn't found at all?
If your target keyword doesn't appear in the title, that's a missed opportunity: the title tag is one of the strongest signals telling search engines what a page is specifically about. Consider rewording the title to include it naturally, without forcing it.
100% local processing: your title and keyword never leave your browser, and all the calculation runs via WebAssembly.
