SEO transition words checker
Paste the text of an article and check whether it uses enough transition words (addition, cause, effect, contrast, example, conclusion) to improve readability and structure your argument. The analysis runs entirely in your browser.
How it works
In SEO writing, transition words help the reader (and search engines) follow the logic of a text: they signal an added idea, a cause, an effect, a contrast, an example or a conclusion. Paste your text and run the analysis, and the tool lists the transition words present by category, with suggestions for the missing categories.
How is the density score calculated?
The tool counts the total number of transition words found and the approximate number of sentences (based on periods, exclamation marks and question marks), then divides the first by the second. The higher this ratio, the more the text links its ideas with explicit transitions, within a reasonable limit so it still reads naturally.
Do I need to use a transition word from every category?
No, not every category is relevant to every text: a purely descriptive article can do perfectly well without cause transitions. Use the suggestions as a reminder, not as a checklist you have to complete in full.
The analyzed text is never sent to a server: all the calculation takes place directly in your browser.
