Trim an audio clip (WAV)
Trim one or more WAV files by specifying a start and end time (in seconds). Only the WAV format is supported for input and output.
Extract an exact passage from a recording
Ideal for isolating an exact excerpt from a longer recording: keep the 30 most striking seconds of an interview, create a ringtone a few seconds long from a song, or cut out a specific passage from a podcast episode to share it without sending the entire file. Enter the start and end times in seconds, import one or more WAV files, and get the trimmed excerpts directly.
What format should my file be in?
Currently, only the WAV format is supported for input and output. If your recording is in another format (MP3, M4A, etc.), you'll need to convert it to WAV first before trimming it here.
Can I chain several trims on the same file?
You can select several files at once, but the same start and end time is applied to all files in the selection in a single operation. To extract several different excerpts from the same source file, repeat the operation and change the start and end values each time.
Audio trimming is performed 100% locally in your browser thanks to WebAssembly: your recording never leaves your device.
