Unit conversion trainer
Practice converting lengths, masses, volumes or temperatures with randomly generated questions. Enter your answer (a small margin of error of 2% is tolerated) and track your score across attempts.

How it works
Choose a category of units, then answer randomly generated conversion questions. Each correct answer (within a tolerance of 2%, or a minimum of 0.05 unit for small values) increases your score, useful for reviewing conversion tables before a science or math test.
Why is a margin of tolerance accepted?
Conversions between imperial and metric systems (miles, pounds, gallons...) involve long decimal factors; a tolerance of 2% allows reasonable rounding to be accepted without penalizing an almost-exact answer.
How are temperatures converted?
Unlike other categories, temperatures use dedicated formulas (Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin) rather than a simple multiplicative factor, because their scales don't share the same zero point.
