How it works
A ZIP archive received by email or downloaded from the internet sometimes holds dozens of files when you only need one or two. This tool lists the contents of the archive without extracting everything at once: check only the files you're interested in and click "Extract selection", or extract a single file with its own button.
Are password-protected files supported?
No, this tool doesn't handle password-encrypted ZIP archives. For that kind of archive, you need dedicated software on your computer that supports decryption, and you'll have to enter the matching password.
Is there a limit on the number or size of files in the archive?
The archive itself is limited to 300 MB so it stays comfortable to process in the browser, but there's no hard limit on the number of files it contains. For very large archives or many small files, extraction may take a few extra seconds depending on your device's power.
The archive is read and decompressed entirely in memory in your browser: no file is sent to a server.
