UUID generator
Generate universally unique identifiers (UUID v4) directly in your browser, with no server call at all. Choose the number of UUIDs to generate and copy them in one click.
What are UUIDs used for?
A UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) is used anywhere a unique identifier is needed without depending on a centralized database incrementing a counter: a table's primary key, a test API key identifier, a temporary filename guaranteed to be unique during a bulk import, or a session identifier in a client-side application.
What exactly is a UUID v4?
A UUID v4 is a 128-bit identifier generated almost entirely from random numbers (unlike versions based on the clock or the machine's network address). The number of possible combinations is so high that a collision between two independently generated UUID v4s is considered negligible in practice.
100% local processing: UUID generation happens directly in your browser via WebAssembly, without any call to an external server.
