How it works

Are you printing a business card or finishing your résumé and want to spare the other person from retyping your contact details by hand? Fill in your name, phone, email and organization, click "Generate QR code": the result encodes your information in the standard vCard format. Once scanned with a smartphone camera, it directly offers to add a new contact with this information already filled in, ready to be saved in one click.

Which fields are actually required?

Only the name is required. You can leave the phone, email or organization empty if you don't want to share them — the created contact simply won't have those fields.

Does this QR code work with all phones?

Yes: the vCard (VCF) format is a standard natively recognized by camera and contacts apps on iOS, Android and most other platforms, with no third-party app needed.

Privacy: the QR code is generated entirely in your browser via WebAssembly — your contact details are never sent to a server.
