How it works
Each line entered in the "word;definition" format becomes a multiple-choice question: the definition is displayed, and you must find the correct word among four options (the correct word and three distractors drawn at random from your other entries). Ideal for reviewing a foreign-language vocabulary list or technical terms.
How many words do I need to enter at minimum?
At least 4 pairs are needed in order to offer 4 different choices for each question (1 correct answer and 3 distractors). The longer your list, the more the distractors vary from one game to the next.
Does the order of questions and choices change each game?
Yes, the order of the questions as well as the position of the choices in each question are shuffled randomly each time a quiz is generated, to avoid memorizing a pattern rather than the vocabulary itself.
Your vocabulary list stays in your browser: it is neither sent nor stored on a server.
