Wedding hashtag generator
Combine the couple's first names to get a list of original hashtags, ready to share on invitations, the digital guestbook or social media on the big day.
How it works
A good wedding hashtag lets your guests easily find all the photos taken during the ceremony and reception, scattered across everyone's Instagram, TikTok or Facebook accounts. Enter the two first names (and the year if you want it included): the tool automatically combines several formats, such as a blend of both names, a pun, or initials followed by the year, so you can pick the one that sounds best.
When should I choose and announce my wedding hashtag?
Ideally several months before the ceremony, as soon as you send the invitations or set up the wedding website, so guests also use it at bachelor and bachelorette parties and during the preparations. Then display it on a sign at the entrance of the venue and on the tables to remind everyone to use it on the big day.
How do I check that a hashtag isn't already in use?
Before printing it on your invitations, search for it on Instagram and TikTok: if it already returns hundreds of posts unrelated to your wedding, it's better to choose another one from the generated suggestions, or add your initials or the year to make it unique.
The first names you enter stay on your device: no data is sent to a server, and the combination happens entirely in your browser.
