Weekend countdown
A live countdown to the next Saturday, updated every second in your browser. No data is sent to a server: the time used is your device's own clock.

How it works
This countdown calculates the date and time of the next Saturday at midnight, based on your device's current date and time, then displays the remaining time in days, hours, minutes and seconds, automatically updated every second without needing to reload the page.
Does the countdown stop if I switch tabs?
Some browsers slow down timer updates on inactive tabs to save battery, so the display may seem frozen for a moment, but it automatically catches up as soon as you return to the tab, since the calculation is based on the real time rather than a simple counter that increments.
Why does the countdown target Saturday and not Friday evening?
The notion of "start of the weekend" varies according to everyone's habits (end of the workday on Friday or exact midnight); this tool uses midnight on Saturday as a simple, unambiguous reference point, valid for everyone regardless of their work schedule.
This countdown only uses your device's clock: nothing is sent to a server.
