How it works
Are you hosting guests and want to spare them the hassle of retyping a long WiFi password on their phone? Enter the network name, password and security type, click "Generate" and print or display the resulting QR code: guests just need to scan it with a smartphone camera to connect automatically.
Does the QR code work with all phones?
It uses the standard format recognized by iOS and Android camera apps, which then directly offer to join the detected network after scanning.
What should I choose if my network has no password?
Select "None" as the security type: the password field is then ignored and the QR code simply invites people to join the open network.
