Example:

How it works

Useful for spotting the dominant keywords in an article before optimizing it for SEO, analyzing the recurring vocabulary of a long text, or detecting unintentional repetitions in a piece of writing. The text is split into words (ignoring punctuation and normalizing case), then each occurrence is counted and the result is sorted from most frequent to least frequent.

Are uppercase and lowercase counted separately?

No, all words are converted to lowercase before counting, so "Cat", "cat", and "CAT" are grouped under a single "cat" entry.

How many words are shown at most?

The 100 most frequent words are displayed. If your text contains more distinct words, only the top 100 (by descending frequency) appear in the table.

100% local processing: the analysis runs entirely in your browser via WebAssembly, your text never leaves your device.
