Sitemap index generator
List the URLs of your sitemap.xml files, separated by commas, to generate a valid sitemap_index.xml file ready to submit to search engines. 100% local processing in your browser (WebAssembly) — nothing is sent to a server.
How it works
When a site exceeds the limit of 50,000 URLs (or 50 MB) per sitemap file, you need to split it into several sitemap.xml files and reference them in a "sitemap index" file, which you then submit to Google Search Console or list in robots.txt. Paste the list of your individual sitemap URLs to generate this index file automatically.
Where should I reference the generated sitemap index file?
Once hosted (for example at https://example.com/sitemap_index.xml), add its URL to your robots.txt file with a Sitemap: ... line, or submit it directly in Google Search Console.
Should I include the last modified date of each sitemap?
It's optional under the sitemaps.org protocol. This tool generates a minimal index with just the URLs, which is perfectly valid; you can manually add a <lastmod> tag for each sitemap if you wish.
100% local processing: generation happens entirely in your browser via WebAssembly, and your URLs never leave your device.
